Q – What should I wear to my appointment and for the duration of my tan?
A – It is advisable to come to your appointment wearing loose fitting clothing, We provide disposable underwear but feel free to bring your own or go without. Its however you feel most comfortable
Q – How should I prepare for my tan
A – It is best to shave/wax and moisturise the day before your tan. Please come to your appointment without any Make-Up, Moisturiser or Deodorant on.
Q – How long will it take for my tan to develop?
A – Your tan will take 6-8 hours to develop fully, durin your treatment your therapist will spray a tinted solution which is only a guide colour onto your skin. This will wash off when you have a shower but don’t be alarmed as the true depth of couloir will still remain present on your skin. You may wish to sleep in your tan, this is ok as it will only develop so much and will not continue getting darker the longer it’s left on.
Q – How should I care for my tan?
A – Once your tan has developed fully you should take a shower and use your hands to gently wash the guide colour away. It is important that you keep your skin moisturised and that you exfoliate after 3 days to ensure your tan fades evenly. Don’t take long baths and pat your skin dry rather than rubbing. Swimming will affect the length of time your tan lasts for and the over exposure to water and chlorine may cause the tan to go patchy
Q – Will my tan protect me from the sun
A – NO you will still need to apply an SPF regularity if you are going to be exposed to the sun. A spray tan offers no protection offer’s no protection what so ever against UVA/UVB rays
You may notice a buscuity smell while your tan is developing, this is completely normal and will go away after you have showered a couple of times.
